Chronic Pain and Hydromassage

Chronic Pain and Hydromassage

Why do I use Hydro massage?

Chronic pain is a persistent pain condition that lasts for more than three months, it affects your day to day living and can often be difficult to manage.  There are many different treatments that can assist in helping improve your quality of life, including diet changes, exercise, medications, chiropractic care, traditional massage therapy, holistic alternatives.

I am also a sufferer of chronic pain, and over the years I have used many methods to mitigate how it impacts my daily life. Finding things that work for me, to balance out the good and bad days so that there are more tolerable ones than not.  Just over 30 years ago I had a full L-spine lumbar decompression and fusion. I have two rods and 8 screws holding my lower spine in place. My experience over this time has been, how can I stop being at a pain level of 10 and manage my life at a 2-3? What does my body need to try and adapt to how the remainder of my years will feel like.  Along with all the traditional tools I continue to use, the Hydro massage has been an excellent addition and reliever of pain and discomfort. The gloomy damp weather seems to cause a shift in how I am feeling, as does the long winters we experience in Alberta. Today is one of those not-so-great days, so I took a walk and followed up with a 15-minute session on the Hydro massage lounger. I personalized the jets to target my lower back; the pressure and warmth of the water (always at 92°) gave me significant relief.

If chronic pain is affecting you, if it is hindering you from you daily life, I welcome you to come give our beds a try.
